The fine old architecture and lovely grounds were perfect for a festive celebration. I enjoyed the tasty breakfast with plenty of options, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Plus, being close to Rother Valley Country Park was a nice bonus for a leisurely stroll.

We faced a few hiccups during our visit. The room got a bit too warm, and we couldn’t open the window for fresh air. Service in the restaurant was pretty slow, and the noise from parties kept us awake at night. A bit of attention to maintenance and timing would really improve the experience.

Everything met expectations, I would return here. Had an enjoyable stay at the weekend. I had a fabulous and stunning room with well decorated bathroom. Secluded location next to the pub down the road, a peaceful area and bar/ restaurant, enjoyed it.

I had a really enjoyable stay and felt the value was great for the price paid. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby Peak District, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our visit.

Breakfast items could benefit from more variety or some daily specials.

i thought the hotel was as i expected, very inviting, ideal surroundings and the room was very classy and very well layed out, i would definately stay there again.

We had a lovely stay at best western, enjoying the comfortable luxury room with a spacious layout and modern decor. the glass ceiling with remote-controlled shutters added a unique touch. we appreciated the ample breakfast selection and the wonderful night's sleep thanks to the cozy bed. the beautiful setting enhanced our experience.

The room was comfortable but the hotel & staff are mainly interested in the many wedding parties they hold. As an individual guest staying you are an afterthought

We complained about the noise in the hotel overnight fans I think, and there was a tomahannk van beneath our window that switched on aoff throughout the night preventing a good night's sleep. However, the receptionist dealt with the conmplaint in an expeditious and very professional manner when we checked out on Sunday morning. Thank you
